BEAR'S DEN (Sleeps 2)

Authentic 1 room  log cabin, restored to its original rustic beauty.  This includes original signatures, left by campers decades ago, when this was a YMCA camp.  This cabin is fully furnished with Queen bed, solid wood dinette table and chairs.  The fully equipped kitchen comes with a small refrigerator, oven & stove, toaster, coffee maker, china, glasses, pots, pans, and  a full set of cooking utensils.  The Bear's Den also comes with a separate bathroom and shower.  This cabin will be warm and cozy with its own  gas log heater, which will be handy when you come back in from your private deck, overlooking the majestic Appalachian Mountain Range.  From your door step, you can follow the Bear's Den Nature Trail.  Along the way, stop by the animal feeding area.  Further down the trail, see an actual bear's den. As with all of our cabins, this cabin also has air conditioning, outside charcoal grill and fire ring.   Check Availability

APACHE (Sleeps up to 6)  

1 side of log cabin duplex. This is one of the older cabins which was part of the YMCA in the 1940s. There are 2 bedrooms each with a double bed and overhead twin. This is a fully furnished cabin solid wood dinette table and chairs.  The kitchen is fully equipped with a small refrigerator, oven & stove, toaster, coffee maker, china, glasses, pots, pans, and a full set of cooking utensils.  This cabin also has a separate bathroom with shower. You will stay warm and cozy with your own gas  heater after you come in from sitting on the porch situated on the stream overlooking the majestic Appalachian Mountain Range. Due to the numerous trees surrounding the property, all of the cabins stay cool all summer long without the need for air conditioners. From your front door, take a stroll along the Gurley Trail to the top of our 200 ft waterfall, or stop by the animal feeding area, or walk to Joel’s Pond. As with all of our cabins, this cabin also has air conditioning, outside charcoal grill and fire ring.    Check Availability     

CHEYENNE (Sleeps up to 6)

1 side of log cabin duplex.  This is one of the older cabins which was part of the YMCA in the 1940s. There are 2 bedrooms each with a double bed with twin overhead in each room. Fully furnished cabin with solid wood dinette table and chairs. This cabin also has a separate bathroom with shower. Your fully-equipped kitchen comes with a small refrigerator, oven & stove, toaster, coffee maker, china, glassware, pots, pans and a full set of cooking utensils.  There is a gas  heater to keep you warm and cozy when you come in from your hike to the waterfalls or to the animal feeding area.  Due to the numerous trees surrounding the property, all of the cabins stay cool all summer long without the need for air conditioning.
